At Ghar Ka Khana Islamabad, we prepare fresh homemade meals on demand to ensure quality and hygiene. Because our food is freshly prepared, order cancellations must follow the conditions outlined below.
This policy applies to all orders placed for homemade food delivery in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
1️⃣ Order Cancellation Before Preparation
Customers may cancel their order only before food preparation begins.
To request cancellation:
✔ Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or phone
✔ Provide your order details
✔ Request cancellation as soon as possible
If the request is received before cooking starts, cancellation may be accepted.
2️⃣ Cancellation After Preparation Begins
Once food preparation has started:
❌ Orders cannot be cancelled
This is because:
🍱 Food is freshly prepared
🍛 Ingredients are used immediately
🥗 Meals cannot be reused or resold
3️⃣ Same-Day Order Cancellations
For same-day orders:
✔ Cancellation requests must be made immediately after placing the order.
Late cancellation requests may not be accepted.
4️⃣ Scheduled Orders Cancellation
For pre-scheduled or advance orders:
✔ Cancellation must be requested at least 2 hours before scheduled preparation time
Failure to cancel within this time may result in cancellation rejection.
5️⃣ Cancellation by Ghar Ka Khana Islamabad
In rare cases, we may cancel orders due to:
- Unavailability of ingredients
- Unexpected operational issues
- Delivery limitations
- Safety concerns
If payment was made in advance, a refund will be processed accordingly.
6️⃣ Refunds After Cancellation
Refund eligibility depends on cancellation timing:
✔ Cancelled before preparation → Refund may be issued
❌ Cancelled after preparation → No refund available
Refunds will follow our Refund & Return Policy.
7️⃣ Bulk Order Cancellation
For large or bulk meal orders:
✔ Advance notice may be required
✔ Cancellation charges may apply
✔ Refund eligibility will be determined case-by-case
